Backed by automobile giant, Mercedes-Benz, Startup Autobahn Singapore is looking to help Singapore entrepreneurs, students and startups that have innovative tech ideas in the area of sales, after-sales and corporation to transform the automobile industry for our customers.
Mercedes-Benz will be holding a hackathon session to hear from you and how your idea will be able to help Mercedes-Benz to solve their industry challenges. Here's one example:
A. Cars are parked in a disorganised fashion in the carparks of workshop or dealership due to space constraint. Accessing the cars then poses a huge challenge.
B. Car keys in workshop or dealership are placed in a key box, salesman will have to manually search for the correct car keys which takes up time and indicates inefficiency.
C. How can we, in real-time, be able to identify the car location and navigate through the workshop seamlessly?
More challenges will be revealed during the hackathon session. If you are a budding entrepreneur, tech guy or simply have experience in the field of: IoT, Social Media Analytics, Picture Recognition, Artificial Intelligence, BOT, Virtual and/or Augmented Reality with a solution for the above mention industry challenge, WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU.

Structure of Hackathon:
9.00am - 9.30am Registration and Breakfast
9.30am - 10.15am Mercedes-Benz Industry Challenge Brief by Patricia Polizzi, General Manager of Information Technology, Mercedes-Benz Cars Sales Overseas
10.15am - 10.30am Rules and Regulations
10.30am - 4.00pm Hackathon Commences
4.00pm - 6.00pm Pitching of solution to Mercedes-Benz Management (5min Pitch / 5min Q&A)
6.00pm - 7.00pm Networking Session
7.00pm - 7.30pm Closing and Announcement of top 3 Entrepreneurs
Top 3 Entrepreneurs will be entitled to pitch in the final selection round (on 17 + 18 November) for a place in Startup Autobahn Singapore Accelerator program.

Guidelines:
1. Each participant will require to bring along their own laptops
2. Each participant will need to submit a deck / mock-up at the end of the Hackathon
3. Each participant will need to pitch the solution to Mercedes-Benz at the end of the Hackathon (5/5 pitch)
4. Final selected entrepreneur or startup must be looking to develop the pitched idea for at least the next 7 months in the accelerator program
