NxtHacks

NxtHacks, a hackathon held by NxtEng Canada, is an opportunity for high school students to design innovative solutions to global challenges.

We want high school youth to be part of the initiative to put Canada on the global stage for innovation. We want high school students to change the world.

You do not need to know how to code, we welcome anyone who has a passion for creating change. You can create a technical hack, or simply design an idea.

You may not be able to come up with the perfect idea in 12 hours, but we hope to give you an opportunity to start thinking. We also want you to have fun, chill, make new friends, and make something awesome!

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No ID required, just a confirmation of registration. This event is for high school students!

What can I bring into the event?

Bring your laptop, charger, and your passion for change! 

If you have serious dietary restrictions, it is recommended that you bring your own food. You can also bring your own extra snacks, or money (there are vending machines and a Starbucks in the building, as well as many other options in the Yonge-Dundas/Eaton's area).
