THE Port Association in partnership with the Geneva Creativity Center (GCC), the SITG, the HUG and TPG have joined forces in the organization of a “Open Geneva Hackathon 2016”, held at Campus Biotech from 16th to 18th April 2016.
The teams, gathering participants from the most various fields and backgrounds and with different age, gender and agenda, will face the challenge of creating their projects’ prototype in a tightened 60 hours sprint workshop and present it on Monday 18th of April. This year’s topics are:
1. Navigation for People with Visual Impairment
2. Forecasting Emergencies
3. On-line Hospital Registration
4. Health Data Collecting and Handling
5. Preventing Suicide by Tech-Assisted Means
6. Sensor Sock for babies with Clubfoot
The Hackathon’s projects outcome will be presented on Monday 18th of April at Campus Biotech at 18:00. The public is welcomed to attend the final presentations; the entrance is free of charge but a a printed eventbrite ticket is compulsory.
