Open Source Circular Economy Day Vancouver
Event Update:
We are holding the first ever Open Source Circular Economy Day in the Greater Vancouver Area as part of Startup City: Impact. We have a waitlist for the event, so if someone cancels their ticket it will go to the next person on the waitlist. If you already signed up for a ticket and can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket so we can offer the spot to someone on the waitlist.
Check Out Protohack!
We encourage you to sign up for another hackathon taking place just upstairs of us, called Protohack. Their mission is to support technological innovation in breast cancer awareness and preventative care. The goal of the event is to produce a technologically-based solution for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation's Don’t Forget to Check Campaign that would encourage and inform women between the ages of 25 – 39 to check their breasts regularly and know what is normal for them so that they can report anything unusual to their doctor.
About OSCEdays:
This hackathon aims to move towards a circular economy, which functions without waste, saves resources and is in sync with nature. At this event, we are engaging our local community in real hands-on action and transparent, open source methods. We are also collaborating as part of a global effort to exchange ideas and solutions – prototyping systems, products and designs for an Open Source Circular Economy.
Join us if you are interested in discussion and collaboration to achieve an Open Source Circular Economy, you’re ready to take a hands-on approach to creating and sharing practical solutions, and you want to be part of a lasting, evolving and enabling Open Source Circular Economy community in the Greater Vancouver Area.
