Open Source Circular Economy Days 2016
We’ve got a new mayor in London so now’s the time to crowd source some open ideas around what London could do to be a more open, circular city. We’ll then plan to write an Open Letter that can be shared as well as learn from other cities and countries.
The intersection between open source, with its emphasis on free use, modification and sharing, and a circular economy which produces no waste, is an exciting and increasingly important one. This event will be an opportunity to collaboratively imagine a future where London embraces open source and circular economy thinking.
It is part of a number of OSCEdays events happening over the weekend in London (and Reading). Come along to one or all!
What is OSCE Days?
Open Source Circular Economy Days (OSCEdays) is a global hackathon-style event and community to create open resources and possibilities for a global shift towards a waste-free, sustainable and environmentally friendly Circular Economy.
We will be one of 70+ cities across the globe running events between June 9th-13th, connecting different cultures and communities.
People from Industry, Grassroots, Maker & Hacker movements, students, etc. will work together on all kinds of challenges discussing, developing and experimenting with the Open Source Circular Economy.
