OpenStreetMap Hackathon

After SatSummit, the mapping fun doesn't have to end! Come grab a hot dinner and drinks with other map enthusiasts after SatSummit on Thursday Sept 20, 6pm-8pm, for an OpenStreetMap mapathon where we will help map Detroit as part of the Detroit Mapping Challenge  and urgent humanitarian mapping needs as part of Humanitarian OpenStreetMap. You just need to bring a laptop; no prior OpenStreetMap editing experience required. We will teach you everything you need to know!

We will be serving pizza (gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options will be available) and light alcoholic drinks. Please RSVP with a ticket below for food/drink headcount.

As well, be sure to attend the After-Hours Party at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum the night before on Wed Sept 19. The party will feature former US Astronaut Cady Coleman, former US CTO Megan Smith, and Head of National Air and Space Museum Ellen Stofan in a panel discussion on their exciting and impactful careers working in space and technology as badass women. Drinks and light bites will also be served!
