Reconnecting the Pakistani diaspora in Toronto with some of the realities and issues affecting Pakistan to help create a worldwide community of changemakers.
Join us for our kickoff event where we will utilize poetry, visual, and performing arts to showcase issues in Pakistan such as women’s rights, health care, and education. This will create pathways that lead to addressing these controversial and difficult issues.
What Is Pakathon?
Pakathon is a registered nonprofit community that inspires changemakers around the world. We have built a platform where social, technical and business resources are created and shared. The events that we host feature the culture of Pakistan, its issues and ideas on how to solve them as a starting point for the larger developing world.
Our flagship event is the 3 day hackathon where we provide space in Toronto and connections in developed countries such as US and Canada, as well as, developing countries such as Pakistan to enable the change you want to make.
