What is REACH Hackathon?
HS-MACA Hackathon was developed to provide an opportunity for young leaders in the fields of software development, business, and public health to collaborate and create tangible solutions for chronic illness, by means of physical activity. We aim to inspire students in the various fields to apply their gifts and capabilities towards real world health disparities challenges.
Who is invited?
Creighton University’s Health Sciences and Multicultural Affairs (HS-MACA) will be exploring solutions to chronic illness using technology through hosting a public health-based, health inequality hackathon. We wish to invite all Creighton University, Eastern Washington University School of Public Health Spokane, University of Nebraska School of Public Health and University of Nebraska-Omaha students to be part of this program, for we believe it will be a unique way to connect individuals of mixed backgrounds and education to create applicable solutions to public health problems.
