RealityHack @ TAURON Arena Kraków

RealityHack is the hackathon that makes reality matter. It’s a groundbreaking series of exciting programming challenges organized by Estimote, both online and offline. The goal is to build stunning apps, that go beyond the boundaries of smartphones and reach into the physical world, creating magical experiences for fellow humans.

RealityHack @ TAURON Arena Kraków is going to change the way event attendees and concert goers experience the excitement of this amazing facility.

The Hackathon takes place starting at 9:00am on Saturday, June 11th, 2016. Estimote and the TAURON Arena Krakow are calling for hackers and designers to come to the arena and unleash their creativity. Build apps enhancing the visitor experience to win fame and glory!

And don’t forget about the before party on June 10th, 7:00pm at the Old Chocolate factory on Krakusa 11, where we will discuss the structure and rules of the hackathon, answer all your questions, and provide helpful hints and templates to ensure we can help make your apps and dream become a reality.

RealityHack @ TAURON Arena Kraków Details 

We kick off at 9:00 AM sharp and your team will have eight hours to develop a mobile app in one of the following categories:

• Indoor navigation

• Show experience

• Food & beverage

• Merchandise

• Prizes and awards

• VIP experience

Every team will be provided Estimote Beacons to complete their projects. While we will program in one of the TAURON Arena Kraków’s large ballrooms, your apps will be showcased for judging throughout the arena, demonstrating how they will enhance experience for event attendees.

There will be experienced mentors on hand to help advise and guide you, ensuring that you can bring the vision of your app to life. We also have a before-party planned for Friday night, 7pm to 9pm, so we can prepare you with all the tools for success! We’ll chat about Use Cases, workshop some ideas, and of course, provide food and drinks. Make sure you drop in at the Old Chocolate Factory, Krakusa 11, Friday June 10th at 7pm!

Winning team will receive a standing ovation, exciting prizes, and the bragging rights of having hacked the TAURON Arena Kraków.

FAQs

What can/can't I bring to the event?

We’ll make sure you’re well fed and hydrated, but you’ll need your own computer and an iOS/Android device to work on. Apart from that, good attitude is a must!
