Red Bull Basement Hatch | Technology igniting disability inclusivity

Organized by

Red Bull Basement Hatches provide a glimpse into the world of Red Bull Basement and the world of possibilities that technology offers to create social impact and solutions. The Red Bull Basement Hatch is an inspirational space where social innovators, creatives and enthusiasts of the future come together to exchange ideas on how to change the world for good through technology.  Whilst technology has a transformative impact on the lives of many, for the 13.9 million disabled people in the UK, technology truly can be magical.  Whilst mainstream technology is constantly stepping up its game for disabled people, specialist products (also known as assistive technology) have also grown their user base.  Some estimates predict that the global assistive technology market will be worth $26bn by 2024.    This Hatch event will explore and analyse technology of the past, present and future that has changed countless lives for the better though an evening of conversations and panels. If you’re a maker, coder, designer, hacker, architect, engineer or any kind of creative using your skills to solve social and environmental issues then come along and enjoy inspiring conversations and networking opportunities with leading experts and change makers.
