Rejectionathon #HardwareEdition

CALLING ALL HARDWARE FOUNDERS AND PRODUCT ENTHUSIASTS!

We’re hosting a special version of Rejectionathon specifically for product founders. If you’re looking to get good at sales, get comfortable talking to your (potential) customers and investors, build up thick skin, or simply just get used to getting rejected, this is the event for you.

Wait, what is Rejectionathon?

Rejectionathon was founded by Elizabeth Yin, Partner at 500 Startups. After her time as a co-founder at LaunchBit (acq. 2014), she realized there had to be a better way for founders to get over their fears of selling rather than spending years in a startup, so Rejectionathon was started as an event that specifically helps founders gain confidence in selling.

What’s different this time?

We’ve honed in on the top issues that hardware founders face and developed a one-day event to help you gain confidence.

Challenges focus on four areas:

  1. Customer feedback on product

  2. Sales

  3. Investor pitches

  4. Building stamina

Similar to a hackathon, you'll spend the day solving adrenaline-packed "challenges" with a small team. You’ll want to complete as many of them as you can with your team in the limited time you have. And we may choose to throw in some surprise bonus challenges mid-event - just to throw you off your game.

What will I gain by participating?

This isn't a practice run. We're taking real businesses and running them through the gamut. You should come prepared to execute challenges with respect to your startup. We expect you to leave the event with valuable feedback on your company and product that you can use to further your business.

Why are you doing this?

Our mission is to take you out of your comfort zone and help you get over your fears of rejection so that you can be the best at your job - as a founder, business developer, sales person, or anyone who just wants to gain more confidence crushing it in the startup world.

Awesome, how do I sign up?

To keep the event valuable for all participants, spots are limited to 30. Secure your spot today.
