Royal Mail Data Science Hackathon

Royal Mail is hosting a charitable Data Science hackathon at their London headquarters on the 24th May for the charity "Missing People".

"Missing People" is an independent charity that helps to track and find missing people as well as provide support for those left behind.

You will be placed into a team of Data Scientists, made up from a mix of Royal Mail Data Scientists and other candidates, working together to build Data Science models for "Missing People" that help identify vulnerable children who are at risk of running away.

Please bring your laptop and be prepared to work on the Azure platform (Some Azure experience would be helpful but is not required). You will be provided with complimentary food and drink throughout the day and will also have a chance to socialise with the entire Royal Mail Data Science team over pizza and drinks in the evening.

Royal Mail is currently looking for multiple junior and mid-level Data Scientists to join their team. They will be on the lookout for talented individuals on the day; if you impress on the day, you may be given the opportunity to join their team.

***Please register ASAP as entries close on the 21st May***

Unfortunately, we are only able to accept a limited number of entries to maintain the size of the hackathon. Once you have registered your interest, provided you pass the selection criteria, we will be in touch shortly to confirm your place.

Please note: We will only accept entries from those that are eligible to work in the UK as Royal Mail does not sponsor work permits/visas.
