RTP Hacks 2018: Southeast Raleigh Hackathon
The RTP Hacks 2018: Southeast Raleigh hackathon will be held on Saturday, October 27.
If you are a student between the ages of 13-17 who attends a Triangle school, you are invited to attend the RTP Hacks 2018: Southeast Raleigh hackathon. It’s a hands-on interactive opportunity that will expose you to what a career in technology could be like. It will show you how to take the interests and ideas you already have and use them to be a force for good that can change your life and your community.
Pre-registration is required.
You will be required to attend both the Hackathon Prep Day and the Hackathon event:
Hackathon Prep Day
- Date: Thursday, October 18 from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
- Location: Raleigh Career Pathways Center, 900 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC
- Participants will form teams of two to four people
Day of Hackathon
- Date: Saturday, October 27 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.
- Location: Google Fiber, 518 West Jones Street, Raleigh, NC
- Dinner will be provided
- Teams will pitch their ideas to judges, who will then vote and choose the winning team
- A grand prize of $1,000 will be awarded and split amongst team members
