Santander Hackathon 2018 - Building Banking Your Way

Calling all developers and future FinTech entrepreneurs to join us on March 16th -18th, 2018 at Huckletree Shoreditch in London. The Hackathon aims to offer all start-ups, students, tech enthusiasts and creative minds in the FinTech industry, the opportunity to develop innovative software solutions that will help people and businesses prosper. The winning team will receive £10,000 and there are a range of other prizes to reward creative ideas!

Masterclass sessions with our skilled mentors will help you build, design and pitch your idea to our panel of experts who will share their wisdom on how to take your prototype to the next level.

Come with an idea, and form a team or join a team on-site and spend the weekend building amazing solutions based around 4 core challenge tracks:

1. Santander care: When ‘life happens’, Santander is there for you

How could Santander help vulnerable people better manage their money at key life moments?

2. Santander everywhere: “No App is the Future App!”

How will customers interact with Santander services via their favourite App, Service, Hardware, AI or yet to be discovered App?

3. Santander secure: Security everywhere

How can we reassure Santander customers that their money and data is secure whichever channel they use?

4. MyScore and MyHome:  Take back control of your creditworthiness.
