SEA MAKERTHON SINGAPORE - 24th to 25th Sept
Be part of the regional movement in Southeast Asia as designers, innovators, and creators come together to innovate for a more sustainable future.
The SEA Makerthon 2016 will be an experience like no other! Be surrounded by more than 100 makers, designers and entrepreneurs who will be designing, prototyping and innovating in 36 hours! This is the first hackathon based on the Circular Economy in Southeast Asia.
In the Singapore edition, we will be looking at tackling food waste. Come learn from our industry partners, Sodexo and Enerprof as they give you insights in the food waste management industry in Singapore. We will be looking at how to reduce food waste mainly in the F&B industry.
The winning team will be chosen as the Singapore representative to compete in the Grand Finale that will be held on the 15-16 of October 2016 during the InnovASEAN Summit. They will have the opportunity to pitch to investors during the Grand Finale The 2 winning teams will also be incubated by Sustanable Living Lab to further develop their product.

SEA Makerthon 2016: Singapore PRE WORKSHOP
In this workshop, we will be giving a brief overview on the makerthon that will be happening on the 24&25th of September. We will also be teaching the software Autodesk Fusion 360 to help participants to give them skills beforehand.
