#SFBATUG Hackathon for Good at Visa, Foster City ft. data from Splash.org
Calling all SFBATUG'ers for a "data for good" Hackathon at Visa's Global Headquarters.
Use your data skills to help support Tableau Foundation partner, Splash.org and visualize water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) solutions to children living in urban poverty in Asia and Africa. Splash recently partnered with Tableau Foundation to use data, and Tableau, to help advance their clean water objectives. Come help envision a world where all children have clean water, clean hands and clean toilets, no matter where they are born.
Data will be provided one week before the TUG. If you have time before the TUG, build away. if not, come to the Hackathon to meet fellow viz'ers, team up, get some help, or do your own thing. Using any and all tools (Alteryx, Mapbox, d3, etc) for visualizing the data is welcome.
**Due to the limited space available, recruiters or IT contracting firms are not eligible to attend. We require your work or school email address for registration in order to verify your eligibility. The venue is a secure facility. The first and last name on the registration must match a government issued ID. Entrance to Visa's parking garage requires an advanced RSVP. No exceptions.**
