Sheffield Refugee Hackathon
We're delighted to announce that we have a date for the second Sheffield Refugee Hackathon. It'll take place at Yoomee's offices at the Electric Works over the weekend of 8th and 9th of April (or as much/little of these days you can spare).
Please make sure you get your free ticket here so we know who's coming and can provide enough space etc.
The plan is to use the Friday evening for:
- people to get to know each other, if they don't already
- catch up on the projects created last time (http://www.yoomee.com/first-refugee-hackathon)
- if there are more people, form teams to look at some of the other ideas
Please feel free to arrive at Electric Works any time after 1715 on the Friday but we'll be starting at 6pm. Reception closes at 1730, so if you arrive later please ring Yoomee's number 0114 286 6228 and we will let you in at the back of the building at the entrance there.
We'll provide drinks on the Friday to make sure you don't go thirsty
On Saturday we plan to be back in the office from 1000, and again you'll need to ring to get into the building as reception doesn't run over the weekend. Feel free to bring snacks and food along with you.
Please remember to bring along a laptop (if you have one).

Please note as all time and energy is being given voluntarily over the weekend there will no prizes, financial incentives or sponsorship opportunities; just camaraderie, fun, and the opportunity to help some amazing organisations which are extremely pushed for time and resources themselves.
