SheLovesData Sydney: Introductory Data Analytics Workshop (Feb 2019)

Heya! Welcome to 2019 with our first workshop of the year! SheLovesData: Introduction to Data Analytics workshop is an introduction to the logical thinking behind data analytics and business intelligence. We're excited to team up with the team at Microsoft to spread data science across Australia. The day provides an overview of data analytics infrastructure and best practices through a hands-on case study. Participants will get to build their own analytics solution based on real-world data. And you're not alone - our data analytics professionals will help you begin your journey. The course aspires to light a spark of curiosity that could end up leading to a career with endless opportunities, where the sky is the limit. Prerequisites SheLovesData focuses on fostering female diversity as well as providing a safe and inclusive space for all, within the data science field. This workshop covers the foundations of data analytics and is designed for beginners in the data field. There are no formal prerequisites to taking this course, but please check the agenda before registering to make sure, that it meets your requirements.
