Siemens presents Digifest 2018, exploring the power of data in digitalizing our cities. Bringing together industry experts from Dell EMC, Microsoft, AWS and GovTech, developers and data geeks, the three day event will kick start with Day1 where we will explore the theme of Digital Cities through an innovative schedule of keynotes, tech talks, workshops and networking opportunities, presented by experts and peers from the IoT sector.
Later, teams come together to take part in a 48-hour hackathon. Great industrial applications will pop up by the innovative participants. Besides providing company experts as mentors to the teams, attractive prizes are up for grabs for all participants.

Steffen’s focus is on building the Siemens Digitalization Hub in Singapore that will combine within one digital ecosystem, customer specific engineering domain and digital know-how. The Digitalization Hub focuses on Siemens key drivers such as intelligent infrastructure, sustainable energy and the future of manufacturing and helps companies transform their business and take the leap into the digital age.
Steffen has more than 17 years of experience in strategy as well as business effectiveness and fosters a keen interest for cutting-edge multimedia showcases.

Michael May is responsible for twelve research groups in Europe, US, and Asia. The technology field is driving research in data analytics, machine learning and AI within Siemens.
Abstract: How Artificial Intelligence will Transform Industry and Infrastructure
Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence are among the main drivers for digitalization, and we begin to see the impact in use cases across many of the Siemens’ divisions. In this context a number of Siemens-wide initiatives and projects on Data Analytics and AI have been recently started. In this talk he gives an overview on the Siemens AI & Analytics landscape and explain how the different threads play together to realize Industrial Machine Intelligence within Siemens.

With 12 years of experience in platform and application go to market as well as cloud native technologies, Dionne’s focus is on bringing the Dell Technologies message of Digital, IT, Security and Workforce Transformation to partners and business leaders. As a subject matter speaker and discussion leader at Dell EMC Forum, Dell Technologies World, various executive briefings and regional industry and analyst events, Dionne evangelizes and conducts workshops on the process of transformation and innovation choices to help clarify and achieve business goals and outcomes amidst disruption.

Richard Koh, Chief Technology Officer, Microsoft Singapore
Richard Koh is the chief technology officer of Microsoft Singapore. In this role, he is responsible for engaging with key executive leaders across government, industry and academia; bringing in the macro technology landscape; and helping customers leverage technology innovations for their digital transformation. His focus areas include guiding technology policies, standards, legal and regulatory matters, as well as security, privacy and compliance decisions.

Michael Frankenberg, CEO, HaCon
With a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Bonn, Michael Frankenberg (*1970) started his professional career as a software developer and project manager at HaCon in 1996. From 2005 to 2017, he acted as managing director, focusing on HaCon’s international orientation and strategic growth, among other responsibilities. In June 2017, HaCon became a member of the Siemens family and Michael Frankenberg was appointed the company’s CEO. Headquartered in Hanover, Germany, HaCon provides cutting-edge software solutions for public transportation, mobility and logistics.
