Building connected car applications
Smartcar + Hackbright | Connected Car Hackathon
Join Hackbright Academy and Smartcar for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build on the Smartcar API, and reimagine the future of mobility by building apps for cars! Smartcar and Hackbright are teaming up to give hackers the opportunity to build apps for connected cars on September 22-23, 2018. We’re going to have a Tesla Model S onsite, so that hackers can test their apps on a real vehicle!
Smartcar and sponsors will be awarding first place and runner-up prizes, including a place in Smartcar’s Garage Program, which gives developers 100,000 API calls a month across 100 vehicles for up to 6 months for free.
Who?
Anyone who wants to learn to build apps on Smartcar's API, gain more hacking experience, or just wants to have some fun! All developers, entrepreneurs, and designers welcome. If you are new to hackathons - don't stress. The Smartcar and Hackbright teams will be there to guide you through the day.
Minimum requirements: Should know how to make an API call; 1-year of coding experience (bootcamp qualifies).
Teams: Must be in teams of 5 people or fewer.
Need a team? Visit our Devpost site, come to our Info Session on September 19th, or contact the organizers at hello@smartcar.com.
We are excited to start building connected car applications with you. See you there!
