Social Innovation Hackathon 2015

We are pleased to announce that IMSA’s 3rd annual Social Innovation Hackathon is underway! Our partner this year, the California Civic Data Coalition (CCDC), will provide real-world challenges with public data. It’s time to take that jumbled, dirty, ugly data and turn it into something beautiful through technology! The organizing committee is working closely with the CCDC to curate a set of well-defined challenge statements to make public data easier to access and analyze, and the impact that a 24-hour event can have. Participants will have access to subject-matter experts, real datasets, in addition to the basics: Wi-fi, meals, snacks, caffeine, and a dedicated nap room.
