Test your skills as well as your stamina! Social Storm is an out of theclassroom learning activity, where you’re challenged to solve areal-life social problem as identified by the United Nations (UN).
This unique opportunity operates in a virtual space, with studentsfrom across the world working together to solve a problem in 24 hours.Social Storm projects could change the lives of vulnerable people byapplying entrepreneurial skills and mindsets to social issues.What a way to conclude Global Entrepreneurship Week!
This event will take place in QUE210 which is one of the computer rooms on the 2nd floor of the library in the Queens building
Social Storm
Are you passionate about building a better society? Can you use your skills and ideas to find solutions to our society's problems? We’re looking for people who believe they can make a difference to society, from any background or degree discipline, to join our unique 24-hour event. You will be working in teams comprised of students from other universities, to find a sustainable solution to a real life problem, and submitting a video pitch to a team of judges.
This event is for Anglia Ruskin University students only. Transport will be provided to Cambridge based students to get to the Chelmsford campus. If you require transport from Cambidge to Chelmsford please purchase a minibus ticket.
