Social Storm Hackathon at Middlesex University

We’re looking for people who believe they can make a difference in the world, from any background or degree discipline to join a unique 24-hour hackathon. This year Social Storm is taking place on 11-12 November 2016 from 13:00 to 13:00 at Middlesex University.

Within the intensive 24 hours you will need to work with your international team to develop a business plan to help solve the social issues, and submit a video pitch to the team of judges. Plus, there will be a range of mentors to tap into for advice.

Social Storm is a great addition to your CV and an opportunity to develop your enterprise and employability skills. Each member of the winning team will also receive a £100 cash prize.  Each student from Middlesex Universty on the winning team will also go to Summer Jam for Entrepreneurs in Croatia 2017, flights and accommodation is paid for!

FAQs

What can/can't I bring to the event?

We suggest you bring a laptop, although these are provided, and a sleeping bag/blanket if you want to get some rest.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

You must be a registered student at Middlesex University
