SoGal Startup Bootcamp - Entrepreneur, Tech & Diversity Festival!

  SoGal Startup Bootcamp is a 3-day weekend celebration of entrepreneurship, startup, and technology. You will receive startup training, form a team, define and test your team's startup idea, get help from coaches, and finally pitch to judges. You will work with other selected participants over the weekend to solve a problem using lean startup methodologies. It's NOT required to bring other team members.    Bootcamp (Entrepreneur Workshops + Startup Expo + Beauty Lounge + Live Music) This is the flexible and fun option! You pick from a knowledge-packed menu of workshops taught by amazing entrepreneurs and investors, and walk away with actionable steps to implement new skills to your venture! Startupthon is similar to a 3-Day Startup or Startup Weekend, where you will specifically work on an idea with a team over the weekend. It's a less technical hackathon, for people who want to test their ideas or have an authentic startup building experience. The goal is to get as far as you can in 52 hours, and present to a panel of judges and the audience on Sunday afternoon. Meals will be included because we want you to focus. Bootcamp is more like a festival. You come to learn (30+ workshops and panels), network, get pampered, and have fun. Other than the awesome new knowledge, skills and connections, you will also enjoy our open bar,  food trucks, live music, and free hair / makeup / headshot / massage !  The free ticket is only valid for admission after Sunday Sep 27 at 2:30pm. It includes a remark from LA Mayor's office, a keynote from Dr. Sabrina Kay, and the Startupathon final presentations.  The VIP ticket gets you priority appointments for the complimentary beauty services, reserved seating at workshops/panels, and a special gift bag. You can also receive a 15-min one-on-one coaching opportunity with a mentor at the event.
