SPROUT HACKATHON

WHAT IS SPROUT? Sprout is the Cognizant quarterly innovation event, designed to give our team an opportunity to collaborate on new ideas and develop innovative solutions using the latest technologies. At the end of the event, each team presents their work; with multiple awards to be won! We are excited to announce this quarter Cognizant is collaborating with ANZ and Google to co-host a two day hackathon event.  We invite our teams to come and work on their best ideas for 48 hours around a specific challenge, then present what has been developed. The best ideas are voted on by the wider team, and also a crack expert panel.   CHALLENGE We will be using latest technologies (hosted on Google Cloud platform), supported by Google.  A challenge area will be revealed on the first morning.   WHEN Thursday July 26th - 8:30AM - 4PM Friday July 27th - 9AM - 8:30PM   WHERE The Collaboratory at Cognizant.  Level 6, 15 William Street.   WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM TEAM SIZE? 6 people   DO I HAVE TO BE ABLE TO CODE? No! We welcome anyone with the right attitude and the skills to contribute to a TEAM capable of building a prototype by the end of the weekend.   WHAT IF I'VE NEVER PARTICIPATED IN A HACKATHON? As long as you have the right attitude and want to work with amazing people come along!
