Startup Hackathon Monterey Bay 2016

Calling all digital game enthusiasts to the 2016 Startup Hackathon Monterey Bay, a three day technology development competition at CSU Monterey Bay.  

This year's Hackathon features a "Game-a-thon" -- Creating Digital Games that solve community problems.  

Teams will work together to design and create a game that addresses one of the community problems presented to them on Friday evening.  

Teams can use any technology to create their digital game.  Teams of computer programmers, artists, designers, and enthusiastic gamers will work together to create a basic digital game over the weekend.

Local game developers, designers and computer engineers will be available along with student mentors to help the teams during the weekend. By Sunday afternoon, the teams will present a prototype of a digital game to a team of judges who will choose the top three games.  

Participants will be provided with food all weekend to keep them fueled up for this intense hacking experience.
