STEAM Hackathon

Organized by PantherHackers

Georgia State University's Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, the PantherHackers student organization, TechSquare Labs, HackGT, LexisNexis and The Arthur M. Blank Foundation are working together to build a scalable web and mobile based platform to display the best S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) on the planet, starting with Metropolitan Atlanta.

From October 28 - 30th, 2016, TechSquare Labs will host students, community stakeholders, developers, marketers, branding experts, creators and builders of all skill sets and disciplines for an ultra-cool "ideation hackathon" designed specifically to harness the best in class ideas for the types of features this platform must include in order to maximize adoption by all communities, with an emphasis on citizens from communities that are underrepresented in STEM fields.

There are no rules except to show up, participate and #buildsomethingfromnothing.

Event attendees will have access to the opening reception/party, SWAG and food/beverage throughout the weekend.

Again, the goal with this initiative is to eliminate every Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math desert on the planet - starting with Atlanta first.

If this is for you, please register now as slots are limited to the first 100 GSU students.
