MISSION: Develop technology tools to improve access to justice for the most vulnerable in our society.
FOCUS: Women and Families (Domestic Violence)– Legal Aid – Law Practice Improvement
Support survivors of domestic violence.
Help lawyers work together.
Create solutions that empower communities.
Tech For Justice Hackathon+ ABA Tech Show will bring together Lawyers, Law Students, Legal Aid,Technologists, Domestic Violence Experts, State and City Representatives, Judges, Law Enforcement, Business Stakeholders and Entrepreneurs, and Concerned Individuals to come up with a solution that will be implemented by developing innovative technologies and gathering in an online space for continued real-time problem solving.
GOAL: Hackathon+ participants will identify and create law practice-based technology solutions to roadblocks in access to justice that apply to one of three domestic violence use cases:
- Prevention
- Emergency crisis support
- Post-crisis support

WHEN: March 12-13th

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
No, everyone is welcome.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

What can/can't I bring to the event?
Bring anything you may need for a few hours of discussion, coding, and fun! There will be free food and beverages, but we do suggest bringing a water bottle.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, but we do ask you to check in with the organizers after you enter the building.
