Tech + Student Activism Hackathon

Since November’s election, the presidential administration has waged attacks on a plethora of communities. Education has not been spared, which has resulted in a growing unrest and unease on college campuses. Student activism has been on the rise in response to improve campus climates, but how can tech help make college campuses feel more inclusive?

The Kapor Center is hosting a Tech + Student Activism Hackathon, aimed at creating solutions to improve college climates for underrepresented communities and to explicitly build connections between tech and activism. Come with ideas and passions, form teams, make connections, and work towards a solution to make campuses more inclusive.

The event is free and open to all students who would like to attend, with food provided. A mixer with music will follow the Hackathon to encourage networking and communication that goes beyond the event!
