Tech Women for Africa - Dublin meetup
Hi,
We will be holding a meetup on the 12th of July, at 6pm. This will be in DogsPatch labs who kindly accepted to host our meetup event:

The main theme will be "Women in Tech - Leveraging our potiential to exploit opportunities in Africa, and make a meaningful impact".
The event is free of charge. The number of attendees is limited, so make sure to book your place early. If you can't make it for any reason, feel free to cancel the booking so as to allow others to attend.
The first speakers are listed below. We are also looking for women in tech who can contribute in this or in future events by sharing their experiences in tech and their insights on the discussed theme. Speakers/Panelists
Dr. Ebun Joseph is a women's advocate, motivational speaker, author and career coach. CEO and seminar speaker for The Unforgettable Women’s Network, an organisation that empowers women to overcome stereotypes and pursue excellence, she is also employed at BITC Ireland where she supports immigrants from over 65 different nationalities.
Ebun Joseph was educated at NUIM, University of Benin, and holds a Ph.D. from University College Dublin researching racial stratification in the Irish labour market.
She has presented various conference papers addressing migrant’s outcomes in the labour market and education system. She is the author of the book Becoming Unforgettable – Uncovering the essence of the woman and the Novel Trapped Prison Without Wall
She is involved in a number of community based initiatives and she serves also as occasional Panelist on TV3 Midday, member RTE Audience Council and Columnist for The African Voice Newspaper.
Daudi KUTTA is an entrepreneur. Founder and director of Pitchside consulting. With strong experience in ICT, technology consultancy and international management, Daudi has worked across diverse countries in Africa where developing innovative and strategic partnerships for businesses.
Daudi received also awards in business Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and founded a number of non-profit intercultural and diversity organisations including the Clare Intercultural Network.
Lye Ogunsanya is a Technologist, Social Entrepreneur and Innovative strategic thinker with more than 5 years strategic and tactical experience shaping the innovative mobile devices industry in Ireland and Northern Ireland, working with leading companies within the highly contested telecoms sector including LG and Sony.
Passionate about the crossover between the private sector and the citizen sector, he is the CEO and Co-founder of the #HOUSEOFAKINA social enterprise amongst other initiatives.
He was winner or finalist in a number of hackathon and entrepreneurship challenges such as the – NASA Space App Challenge 2016, SpaceHack, The refugee Journey 2016 (Berlin), Enactus All-Ireland Social Entrepreneurial Competition 2013, Intel & PCH IoT Hackathon 2014.
