Techfugees Brisbane 2017 Info Session

Come along to this information night where we'll be outlining the structure of a hackathon and giving our tips for success.

RedCross Australia will also be delivering a presentation on the real situation faced by people seeking asylum in Australia. Have you ever wondered what percentage Australia offers safety to the approximately 23 million refugees in the world? Have you thought about the challenges people seeking asylum or people from Regugee backgrounds face when settling in a new country? Come a join our conversation to find out. 

The info session is also a perfect way to meet potential team members, learn all about the #TechFugeesBNE17 and ask any questions of the Techfugees team or from the co-event organisers at River City Labs. 

This event is open to the General Public.  Attendance is free but registration is compulsory.
