Technology Hackathon
What does the level crossing removal project of the future look like?
LXRA has a bold vision for how an accelerated use of technology can produce step-change improvements to enhance safety, improve resource availability, and reduce the cost of projects. The LXRA Research and Innovation team with the support of the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science Entrepreneurs’ Programme is looking to partner with industry to progress this vision.
LXRA is considering a series of pilot projects with large technology companies to address these challenges. Small and medium sized enterprises are also welcome to take advantage of this opportunity to investigate trial and deploy new and relevant technologies.
The purpose of this event is to identify technologies and solutions that can improve the delivery of LXRA projects, as well as the wider infrastructure construction industry. At this event you will have the opportunity to share your capabilities and collaboratively develop ideas and solutions with key stakeholders from LXRA, the Entrepreneurs’ Programme and large communications providers including Telstra, Orange, Optus, Schneider Electric, Transdev and Huawei.
Our focus for the day:
How can technology impact the construction of large infrastructure projects?
What does the smart, connected site look like?
The Challenge
How can technology provide teams with insights to improve delivery?
What technologies can be used to create a smart and connected infrastructure project?
