The Citizens Challenge 2019
Organized by
Create prototypes that make a difference in the FinTech world, receive feedback from experienced entrepreneurs and get a chance to win amazing prizes all in one weekend. Join us to experience the Citizens Challenge!
The second annual Citizens Challenge Hackathon, hosted by Citizens Bank with support from the Open Bank Project, is happening October 4 - 6, 2019 at District Hall in Boston’s Seaport.
Now in its second year, the Citizens Challenge is open to developer teams and early-stage startups, and includes coaching, workshops, mentoring sessions and get-togethers over an amazing weekend in Boston.
Over the course of the weekend you'll be challenged to create a prototype of your MVP demonstrating an innovative solution leveraging banking and other data to hack one of three challenges:
As we accelerate our digital transformation, how can you help us improve the speed and efficiency with which we serve our customers? Consumer Challenge
How might we onboard new commercial customers in a frictionless way? - Commercial Challenge
How might we use data to make mobile-first customers smarter about their spending & savings? - Shared Challenge
You’ll be competing for prizes and recognition for your creative ideas! In addition, there will be networking and learning sessions with technologists and business strategist who will help you build, design and pitch your idea to our panel of experts and share their wisdom on how to take your prototype to the next level. You’ll be powered by food and drink and a space purpose-built to support hackers like you.
If you’re keen to have the opportunity to demonstrate your creativity and to collaborate to create an exciting prototype of your ideas, register today to secure your spot in Citizens Challenge!
You can follow the Citizens Challenge and share your experience on social media using the hashtag #citizenschallenge
