Speakers:
Ed GreigChief Digital Disruptor, Deloitte
Ed is the Chief Disruptor at Deloitte Digital, helping clients to think disruptively and also disrupting Deloitte itself. His role is to work with new technologies to demonstrate where they can be used effectively by building minimum-viable products or proofs of concept that support a case for further investment by quickly and inexpensively showing tangible benefits.
He has led teams on a variety of pioneering projects in virtual reality (VR) and 360° film, as well as in 3D printing, machine learning, augmented reality (AR) and the Internet of Things (IoT).
Ed also introduces new ways of working, with practical workshops that challenge the clients’ thinking about their organisations and the future, as well as internal and client-focused hackathons.
Luciana Carvalho
Founder & Managing Director, Se3 Solutions
Learner, maker, systems thinker, innovator and tech evangelist, Luciana splits her time between growing the Realities Centre London — a new innovation space, incubator and academy for B2B/enterprise VR, AR, MR and AI — and Unfold UK, supporting diversity and inclusion in 'XR'. Passionate about VR/tech ‘for good’ and ‘human tech’, she carries ongoing research on the possibilities and challenges immersive tech presents for neuroscience, unconscious bias and cognitive behavioural change.
Combining 5+ years’ experience in creative strategy, digital marketing and business development at award-winning/early stage startups, her forté lies in evangelising the practical impact of future technologies and communicating complex ideas down to easy-to-grasp digestible chunks.
She was elected one of Code First Girls ‘25 Ones to Watch’, 'Top 5 Female Role Models in the Tech Industry', and Virtual Perceptions' 'Heroes of VR' in 2016. Luciana has a MA/BA Law (Tripos) degree from Cambridge University, MA (Hons) International Business and Project Management Specialisation from HULT Business School, and International Law, Systems Thinking & Leadership from Harvard Extension School.
Simon Gratton
Founder & CTO, CTO Advisors
An award winning CDO, CTO & IT strategist combined with a slice of ‘data and digital artist’ plus a passion for making the complex simple, Simon has a track record of ‘getting to the point’ through pictures and making the journey fun.
Prior experience as a Chief Data Officer and Chief Technology Officer on digital transformation initiatives across Banking, Insurance, Logistics and Management Consulting with Startup experience in the InsureTech space. Simon has twice been awarded Information Age UK Data 50 status (2016/2017) and Computer Weekly UK Tech 50 Rising Star in 2015 and was also British Computer Society Fellow in 2016.
He has a passion for driving business change and innovation using information as the strategic asset and a proven history of ‘building’ multifaceted teams using innovative recruitment and training mechanisms. Simon is an experienced corporate keynote speaker and global industry ‘blogger’ and has created more Powerpoint presentations, whitepapers and thought-leadership concepts than previously thought humanly possible.
