The Real Girl Code Toronto Hackathon

We're an all-girls hackathon aimed at middle school and high school students located in Toronto happening in Spring 2018. Join us on May 5, 2018 for an amazing event filled with cool speakers, prizes, and talented, innovative girls! You don't need to have any experience to join, just bring yourself, your laptop (charged!) and motivation to learn! The Real Girl Code aims to provide opportunities for girls across the Greater Toronto Area to explore or deepen their understanding in computer science through the cultivation of a supportive community. The Real Girl Code team strongly believes that the first step for girls to feel truly confident is to break gender stereotypes by creating an environment where no girl has to fit into any gender role and can be or do anything she can possibly dream of.
