Makers Making Change is an innovative community based initiative that connects makers to people with disabilities to create affordable open source assistive technologies. Makers Making Change is collaborating with Mount Royal University Maker Studio to host a Toy Hackathon. The MRU Maker Studio is a creative space for students, faculty, staff and community users to explore ideas and concepts . Come see how you can use your maker skills to benefit the community. This event is open to anyone who wants to participate. In this presentation you will learn how to hack toys to make them more accessible to children with disabilities by using switches.
