Umbraco UK Festival 2016

Move over November 5th. Remember, remember the third (and fourth!) of November as Umbraco Festival is back! The wait is finally over, spinning up into its seventh year, Umbraco UK Festival is bigger and better than ever. This is the Umbraco UK Festival, but levelled up. We can’t promise fireworks but we can promise: a brand spanking new venue with all the trimmings, new features and, of course, all the coffee you can handle.

Join us for this year’s festival at the fantastic CodeNode venue in the City of London, right between Liverpool St and Moorgate. Prepare yourself for better seating, better A/V, more snacks, better rooms and better catering.

Thursday 3rd November - Hackathon

Ready to up your Umbraco experience points? Join us for the Umbraco UK Festival’s famous Hackathon, and help bash some Umbraco bugs. The Hackathon and Bug Fixathon is dedicated to eliminating all of those pesky glitches that you come across on a daily basis but never have the time to do combat with. Fear not, some of the Umbraco HQ crew will be on hand to help out. We’ll fuel your hacking with bottomless coffee, snacks and lunch. But, be warned, there are only 75 spaces, so make sure you let us know before it’s too late.

Friday 4th November - Umbraco UK Festival Sessions

What we can reveal is that we’ve listened to your calls and have divvied up the day into three tailored streams. Choose your stream depending on your level and hit ‘Go’.

• Advanced
• Umbraco in business (this one’s for all the project managers, CEOs and Business peeps out there).

Select the stream that suits you best, or go wild and journey into an unknown world. Regardless of the stream that you choose, you can expect workshops and talks from Umbraco veterans. Stay tuned for more info, but ensure you let us know which stream you plan to join when purchasing your ticket.

But wait, there's more!

Not only do you get access to the full two-day event, but you also get exclusive access to the official Umbraco UK Festival after-party. And where better than a traditional London pub just over the road? What’s more, as we don't (and never will) make any profit from this event, The Cogworks will be putting any cash left over from ticket sales behind the bar, so we can have a good old knees up!

Call for Speakers

Desperate to get involved? Well now’s your chance. We’re open to ideas, whether you want to present your pièce de résistance, offer your musings on digital philosophy, or maybe even perform an interpretative dance on backwards compatibility (we can’t guarantee we’ll say yes to that last one though). However big or small your idea is, let us know.

You’ll have the chance to share with the crème de la crème of the Umbraco universe, and then bask in the applause and glory that follows. Email umbracofestival@thecogworks.com if you’re interested.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Changed your mind? Lost your dog? Mixed your dates up? Unfortunately, tickets are not transferrable, however if you can’t make it then please let us know as soon as you can so we can make your ticket available to other delegates.

N.B.: The deadline for refunds is 14 days prior to the start of the event.
