Prepare for the #UnearthedToronto Hackathon
Before the #UnearthedToronto Hackathon at Bitmaker, there will be an Info Session to introduce the event and provide details to all those interested in attending it. The Info Session will take place at the Centre for Social Innovation, located at: 192 Spadina.
Come along to learn about:
- The upcoming challenges from Barrick Gold
- What skills are required to not only take part, but succeed at an Unearthed hackathon
- How to form teams for the hackathon
- What prizes and opportunities are on offer
- What past innovations have come out of Unearthed hackathons
At the Info Session you will meet Mikey Kailis, Growth Manager of Unearthed & guest speakers from Barrick Gold who will be on hand to introduce the challenges.
This is a great opportunity for any innovator, entrepreneur or startup looking to either enter the mining industry or developing the technologies to impact industry.
The Info Session will also be an opportunity to:
- Find out about discounts for university students, members of coworking spaces and tech hubs
- Ask questions to the event organisers
- Find out what you need for the weekend and view the event schedule
