Valley Hackathon III
The Valley Economic Alliance is hosting Valley Hackathon III on Friday, October 13 from 9am-5pm at Downtown Central Library's Auditorium. High school and college students are invited to come together to develop concepts and usable solutions to a challenge that is revealed at the technology focused competition. Teams will present their final solutions to a panel of industry experts for a chance to win first, second and third place prizes. Students will also have the opportunity to network with apprenticeship sponsors at the event, who are offering internship opportunities to applicable candidates.

Valley Hackathon III is recruiting high school (9-12) and college students only.

Participants must bring their own laptop & flash drive to the event.

Students will need to use PowerPoint & Microsoft Excel.

Teams & competition challenge will be revealed at the event. Students cannot create their own teams.

First, Second & Third Place winning teams will be selected by a panel of judges & win sponsored prizes. Prizes will not be announced prior to the event.

Continental breakfast & lunch will be served.

Transportation nor transportation reimbursement will not be provided.

Parking is available in front of the library. Map & parking instructions to come.

Bring your resume! There will be an internship networking portion where you may meet your next employer.

This event will be photographed and videotaped. Minors must complete a photo/video release form, signed by parent, guardian or supervisor.
