AR/VR hardware provides software developers with the chance to take all of us into new realms of reality – and change the way we interact with our world.
Are you ready to use the hardware of the present to show us the future?
We want you to create the next-generation AR and VR consumer experience. We want to see your vision of what commerce and security will look like through the lens of these cutting-edge technologies.
We are looking for teams of developers (minimum of 2, maximum of 6 people) to conceptualize and design your VR/AR solution to a problem or challenge in commerce or payments.
The judges will choose the top 3 projects from the hackathon, and these three teams will be invited to participate in a live demo during Innovation Project 2017.
Each team will be responsible for their expenses to and from Boston, including transportation, meals, and lodging.
The Challenge registration begins on February 17th at 12:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) and ends on February 27th at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).

A confirmation email of your registration will be sent shortly following your submission. If the hackathon has reached full capacity at the time of your registration, your team will be placed on a waitlist to attend. If a spot becomes available, we will contact teams on the waitlist based on the date/time the registration was submitted.

Subject to terms and conditions, the winners will receive the following:
- One (1) First Prize will be $10,000
- One (1) Second Prize will be $5,000
- One (1) Third Prize will be $3,000
The total value of all prizes is $18,000. All amounts are in U.S. dollars.
