VR Hackathon Brisbane

The VR Hackathon is a community driven event focused on bringing together the brightest minds interested in virtual reality and related technologies to develop innovative hardware and software solutions, have fun, and build out the future of immersive technology. Now a global community, VR hackathons are organized the Web3D Consortium.  This is a free event. VR hackathon, Brisbane is co-organized by CSIRO Data61 and Brisbane ACM SIGGRAPH Chapter, and also co-located with the Web3D 2017 Conference. 

This year to promote the use of immersive technologies in real world, VR Hackathon encourages industry specific challenges: Future Factories, Smarter Mining,  Disaster Resilience, Safe UAVs, Wearable Sensors, Talking Roads, Smart Farms and more.

Hacking: Friday 8:00 PM - Sunday 12 Noon (no overnight stay)

Reception: Friday 2 June 5:00 PM -  9:00 PM

Awards Presentation: Sunday 4 June 12 Noon -  2:00 PM
