Wagga Hack4Good Hackathon

Charles Sturt University (CSU) is lending its expertise to a community-based project

aimed at improving the employment outcomes of young people in Wagga Wagga.

The inaugural Wagga Wagga Hack4Good will be held at CSU in Wagga Wagga

from Friday 27 November.

As part of the national ‘Social Inclusion Week’ CSU is joining forces with Wagga

City Council, Intersect Australia and Murrumbidgee Family and Community

Services.

The aim is to encourage young people to access technology to enable them to

connect with individuals and networks within in the local community.

The event begins with a Student ‘Hack Experience’, providing mentoring and

support for school students on Friday 27 November.

A community technology fair will be held on Saturday and Sunday with tutorials on

social media, coding and app design.

CSU is proud to support this project as part of its community engagement program

with contributions such as venue, IT support and expertise in app design.

Wagga Wagga Hack4Good will be held at the Learning Commons downstairs

computer lab, building 13 at CSU in Wagga Wagga from 9.00am Saturday 28th to 2pm Sun 29th November

The Student Hack Experience will run from 12:00 to 2:30 pm on Friday 27

November.

The Community Technology Fair will be held from 9am on Saturday 28 November.
