WCEF Crypto Hackathon: 200K in Prizes
An event for creating and sharing world-changing blockchain apps and crypto projects
It is increasingly difficult to have a conversation on disruptive technology without referencing blockchain and the cryptocurrency industry. The WCEF Crypto Hackathon encourages development of this field by providing talented crypto and blockchain app developers with the opportunity and platform to share their ideas with top entrepreneurs, industry experts, and members of the greater tech community.
Backed by a $~200,000 prize from Propy (50k Propy tokens), this Hackathon offers a unique opportunity for hackers to pursue their wildest ideas to the fullest, developing the next generation of ideas that will transform the crypto industry.
Who Should Attend: Any developer, designer, architect, or even project manager who wishes to roll up their sleeves and dive into an immersive project making use of blockchain and/or cryptocurrency technologies. Come by yourself, come with a friend, or a whole team. We'll work to match you up with teammates to build something to show off to the judges on Sunday. Place in the top 3 teams and you'll get to present at the WCEF Conference before the opening keynote on Tuesday in front of 1000+ attendees.
If you want to help mentor, feel free to swing by the venue for several hours and sign up for a mentor ticket.

Sponsors

Propy - 50K Propy tokens - Title Sponsor
Propy aims to solve the problems facing international real estate transactions by creating a novel unified property store and asset transfer platform for the global real estate industry. Initially the Propy Registry will mirror official land registry records in which transfers of real estate are recorded. Ultimately, however, Propy’s vision is that jurisdictions will adopt the Propy Registry as their official ledger of record such that the transfer of a property on the Propy Registry constitutes the legal transfer of the property and the legal registration of that transfer.

Nucypher - 12 Ether
Proxy re-encryption for distributed systems.

Loopring - 2500 in Loopring Tokens
Loopring is not only a protocol but also a decentralized automated execution system that trades across the crypto-token exchanges, shielding users from counterparty risk and reducing the cost of trading. By pooling the liquidity of cryptocurrencies, we are building the financial system of the future.

Amberdata.io - 2000 USD
Amberdata builds SaaS platform for monitoring, searching, analyzing, and securing public and private blockchains. Amberdata enables operational intelligence for blockchain infrastructure, applications, and transactions helping to instrument and operationalize their platforms.
