Women on the Block: An evening with influential women in Blockchain
Organized by
This month's edition of Blockchain Beginners will feature an all-female panel, comprised of some of the most influential women in this space. 50% of all ticket proceeds will be donated to Project Girl Code*, a non-profit organisation teaching digital literacy skills and providing IT training to girls and young women who are vulnerable to trafficking, slavery or forced marriage.
Once again we are being hosted by SapientRazorfish in their stunning London office with support from eToro. We will have a panel of 3 speakers followed by a Q&A session and then networking before moving on to the pub.
Our first speaker to be confirmed is Aga Gajownik, a professional speaker specialising in covering topics around tech for good. She recently started working with Wrisx, a startup that uses blockchain to minimise risk around investing in emerging markets (https://wrisx.com/). In the past, Aga helped to launch www.sotec.io who won 2 hackathons around using tech for good.
Further speakers and the MC are to be announced shortly.
*We do not have a formal partnership with Project Girl Code at present. The money will be donated once funds are released from Eventbrite. This is within 8 days of the event being completed.
