    All-Women Hackathon San Francisco

    A one day hackathon for women from experienced coders to total newbies. Watch this video of our March 2017 All-Women Hackathon, which was a huge success.

    Come with an idea or join a team on-site and spend the day building a great project with enthusiastic, fun people. 

    • Registration | We have limited slots available, so please sign-up here. Your registration fee covers lunch and dinner and admission to the Career Fair

    • Teams | Teams of 5 - 6 women will be formed Saturday morning. 

    • Judges | Our judging panel is made up of industry influencers, educators, hackathon pros and civic leaders.

    • Bring |Your laptop, skills & ideas. Come with a collaborative, team-focused mindset and/or team-up in advance on the Hackathon FB page and/or slack channel/

    Food, fun and prizes. 

    This hackathon will be held during our Global Career Summit and will be focused on career challenges and solutions. All participants are welcome to attend the career fair.

    Hackathon Challenges

    • Engage more Girls in STEM

    • End the Gender Gap in Tech, Startup and/or Venture Capital

    • Empower women to break the glass ceiling in workplace

    • Enable companies to hire and retain diverse candidates

    • Make the job search process applicant friendly for new immigrants and refugees

    • Improve a potential candidate’s job search experience to find the right role

    • Help women find and connect with mentors, recruiters and investors

    • Solution to any other jobsearch, startup or career related challenge

    1.Originality: How unique is your idea

    2. Technical: Best use of code to create your product

    3. Design: Best looking product

    4. Business Model: Is there a viable business model attached to the idea

    By Participating at the event, you grant The Expat Woman permission to capture photo/video of the event.

    Tickets to this event are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you have the option of giving it to a friend or team member to attend in your place.
