Impact Hub Dubai brings you an immersive learning experience designed to take you from a startup idea to a prototype in 2 hours. This workshop is for aspiring entrepreneurs with little or no design background, interested in creating the first iteration of their web or mobile applications concepts in their respective field of interest.

Instructors

Ashiqur Rahman

Ashiq is a UI/UX designer and developer, whose experience ranges from startups, to mid-sized and large businesses and government projects across the middle east. He is currently a product manager and designer of web and mobile applications for upcoming startups in the MEA and Europe regions. Ashiq is also currently an instructor at The Coding Circle teaching children the basics of UI/UX and Web Development through classes and workshops. Ashiq built his experience around award winning projects recognized by Microsoft Imagine Cup, Gitex Student Lab MENA region as well as the Arabian Business Awards.

Sajjad Kamal

Sajjad Kamal is a veteran software products developer and serial entrepreneur with a successful exit. Sajjad is currently working on Alemhealth - a diagnostic telemedicine service for developing countries. Sajjad also catalyzes innovation at Inovio Labs, a product development lab experimenting and developing cutting edge technologies for entrepreneurs and businesses. Inovio Labs has helped entrepreneurs, government entities, and businesses with their UI/UX and application development needs.  In the past, Sajjad has worked at Apple, Blackberry, Nobel Prize winning - Grameen Bank and other startups. Sajjad holds a double Major in Mathematics( Combinatorics and Optimization) from the University of Waterloo in Canada.  Sajjad loves ideating and has previously won Startup Weekend Abu Dhabi and Angelhack Global Hackathon - World's Largest Hackathon and Seedstars World.
