Worldwide Actions on Google Hackathon

We welcome you to join the 1st Worldwide Actions on Google Hackathon! Join 12 cities, 3 continents, and about 700 "voice hackers" for creating better traveling with Google Assistant. Let’s celebrate World Tourism Day by inviting everyone to redefine the travel experience.* The Hackathon is a two day event (NO NIGHT) event, for both Hackathons and sleep lovers :) Goal: You'll get 24 hours to create your own Google Assistant Voice App. We will focus on apps for travel, transportation and tourism. Whether you are a programmer, designer, marketer, or just an enthusiast - just come, join the team and be part of the creation of something revolutionary.  The hackthon will contain 3 parts: 1. DESIGN YOUR VOICE APPLICATION 2. BUILD YOUR VOICE APP 3. PRESENT YOUR APP You will get the best Google & Kiwi.com mentors, Google Assistant (Home & Nest), and unlimited snacks. Event Details: Sunday - Sep 8th - KICKOFF MEETUP18:00- 20:00 Getting ready for the hackathon.- Welcome the teams and tell more about the challenge and hackathon. Start with designing you idea. --------- Thursday, Sep 12th: HACKATHON FIRST DAY START: 16:30 on Thursday, Sep 12th - official start of the Global Voice Hackathon. FINISH: 23:00 at night.  Friday, Sep 13th: HACKATHON SECOND DAY, CONTEST AND WINNERS.  START: 9:30 - Continue and finish up our projects. The result should be a functional prototype. FINISH: 15:00 - Presentation to the TLV Jury and winner selection Prize: The winner of the TLV hackathon will take part in the grand finale, where the international Jury ( GDG, Google and Kiwi.com) will select the 10 best projects from all around the world. The winning team will send a video to present their demo to the international team. Each of these ten international winning teams will receive 500 EUR voucher from Kiwi.com Additional info:  The event is open to everyone - for programmers (even juniors), UX designers, markers, technology enthusiasts who want to learn and try something new.  We welcome diverse participants! The ideal team is 3-5 people.  In order to come ready for the challenge, we suggest each team member will complete 3 basic codelabs for Actions on Google before the hackathjon:https://developers.google.com/actions/codelabs/  Each project should includes - An exciting, creative, innovative or unique idea - Conversation design: intuitive "human-like" conversation - A functioning Google Assistant app: all you need is JavaScript and a Gmail account SIGN UP and ACCEPTENCE:  We welcome you all the registers (preferable in teams) in this REGISTRATION FORM. We know many of you would like to take part, but ONLY 10 best teams will be accepted to the Hackathon.
