    Worldwide Helpers’ next big initiative is to build a mobile phone application in order to serve its users in a more efficient way. As WWH begins to work towards launching a new mobile phone application for its users, this event hopes to bring together tech graduates, tech experts and key WWH stakeholders under the theme of ‘tech for good’!

    Event Format:

    Attendees will have the option to register as an individual or as part of a team of no more than three to compete in the WWH Hackathon competition.

    Everyone will be presented with a brief of the WWH phone app. Each team will have 5 hours to prepare their implementation plan. Once teams are satisfied with their final implementation plan, they will submit it for the final consideration of WWH founder- Roya Elghanian.

    Implementation plans must include :

    1.            Timeline of building app

    2.            Estimation of all costings involved

    3.            Estimation of how many people it would take to build the app

    4.            Commercial viability of app

     

    Prizes:

    Winner/s will have the opportunity to work a developer to bring implementation plan to life

    2nd place : £100

    3rd place: £50
