Writally Bloghackathon

Who said hackathons had to be all about geeks cracking out code in a frenzied session fueled by pizza and beer?

And who said you had to be a professional writer to create a compelling, original blog post?

Writally is hosting its 4th blog-hackathon on September 20th, and if you're a small business blogger or a wanna-be blogger, we’d love to see you there.

Our aim is to show you how to create an original blog post in record time, and empower you to publish so you can reach your potential customers with ease, build your authority, and gain a competitive edge.

HOW IT WORKS

Before the Event:

You register for the event, then we’ll send you a link to request a free Writally blog post recipe rso you can send us your topic idea*.

Tip: if you need help brainstorming topics, join the Writally group on Facebook and ask for input from our 260 members [http://www.facebook.com/groups/writally].

At the Event:

Bring your laptop, and get ready to write! Using your blog post recipe (which will given to you when you arrive), you'll have uninterupted time to write your first draft and maybe even finish it altogether! At the end of the event, you’ll walk away with a tonne of helpful feedback to help you improve your blog writing and a kick-ass blog post you can publish immediately!

*Please note, you must get your request to us by 5pm September 19 to have a custom recipe!

WHAT'S A BLOG POST RECIPE?

Writally recipes are step-by-step how-to frameworks for your blog posts. At the moment, we create these manually, but with the help of BlueChilli and CCIQ, we’re turning our manual process into a web-based app.

We’re keen to demonstrate just how effective using blog post recipes is, which is one of the reasons we’re hosting this event… plus we like to have fun, eat food and spend time getting to know you too!

BonusCome along to the event for a free basic one-month membership to Writally (1 post per month). So, not only do you get your free recipe for the event, but we’ll throw in another one that you can use anytime till October 20.
