ZLAS: Hackathon with SAS and MAESD

ZLAS, SAS and the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development (MAESD) are ready to kick off our 2nd annual Hackathon. During our second workshop, MAESD revealed that this year's Hackathon revolves around the completion rates of apprenticeship programs in Ontario.

Did you miss the first two SAS workshops? Don't worry, we will send you all the resources you need to get familiar with the software.

This Hackathon is open to any post-secondary students. Must be able to travel to Ryerson University on the day of the Final Presentation (March 15th) on your own.

Are you not available due to class on March 15th? Unless you have class back to back from 10 am to 4 pm, we can work around your schedule and try to book your presentation in between your breaks!

This Hackathon can be done in teams of 2-5 students and you are free to form your own teams. ALL participants must pay the deposit of $20 which will be refunded upon completion of the Hack. A form will be sent out to students at a later date for you to indicate who your teammates are. If you haven't found a group yet, you can sign up as an individual and we will be putting you in a group after the sign-up deadline.

Do you have what it takes to solve this problem? Want to test your problem-solving abilities using a well-known analytics software? Sign up now!

Registration for the Hackathon will remain open until Friday, February 2nd. At which point, we will send you updates about the release of data, group formation, the rules & guidelines of the competition and resources including mentors.
